Cristiano Ronaldo’s son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., is training with Real Madrid’s academy, Cadena SER reported.
On March 24, the 15-year-old took part in a training session with the Cadete A side at the Valdebebas training complex, where he was assessed as a winger. The coaching staff plans to continue monitoring the player before making a final decision, with Real Madrid considering the possibility of offering him a contract.
Ronaldo Jr. previously played for the youth teams of Juventus and Manchester United — clubs where Cristiano Ronaldo played. Since late 2022, he has been part of Al-Nassr’s academy system. He joined the club after Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Saudi Arabia.
At international level, he represents Portugal’s youth teams. Despite being born in the United States, he has already played for the U15 side, including at an international tournament in Croatia.
His involvement has fuelled speculation about a possible return of the Ronaldo family to Madrid. However, the process remains at an early stage and no transfer has been completed.
The player will turn 16 in June, which will allow him to compete at a higher youth level. If successful, it could mark an important step in his career.
