Polymarket has signed an agreement with the Bundesliga, Germany’s top-flight football league, to become its official prediction markets partner in the United States.
The deal was announced by Relevent, the company responsible for the Bundesliga’s commercial development in the US market. The term of the deal was not disclosed, although it was described as a multi-year partnership. It will come into effect from the 2026/27 season, which begins in August.
Under the agreement, Polymarket will launch markets tied to Bundesliga fixtures for US users. Users will be able to trade contracts linked to match outcomes.
Put simply, these are contracts on sporting results: users trade them on the platform rather than placing traditional bets with bookmakers.
Polymarket will also be allowed to use Bundesliga and club branding in connection with these markets. The deal was announced by Relevent, the company responsible for the Bundesliga’s commercial development in the US market.
However, the official match data distribution rights for the Bundesliga remain with Swiss company Sportradar. If Polymarket needs access to that data, it would require a separate commercial agreement.
This is not Polymarket’s first partnership with major football leagues and competitions. The company previously became Serie A’s official prediction markets partner in the United States. Polymarket has also been linked to agreements with MLS, Spain’s La Liga, Mexico’s Liga MX and other sports organisations.
