Major League Soccer (MLS), the top professional football league in the United States and Canada, has announced a multi-year partnership with prediction market platform Polymarket. The agreement was concluded through the league’s commercial arm, Soccer United Marketing. The duration of the deal and its financial terms were not disclosed.
Under the partnership, Polymarket has been named MLS’s official and exclusive partner in the prediction market segment, as well as a partner of the league’s All-Star Game, the MLS Cup, and the Leagues Cup tournament.
The parties plan to collaborate on digital fan engagement formats, including the integration of prediction market data into the league’s official platforms.
MLS said the agreement reflects its strategy to introduce new forms of audience engagement and to further develop the digital fan experience. Polymarket, for its part, views the partnership as an opportunity to offer a more interactive, data-driven approach to sports content. The deal also includes measures aimed at protecting sporting integrity, such as monitoring activity across prediction markets.
Polymarket has previously entered into a league-level partnership as the official partner of the National Hockey League (NHL), making the MLS agreement its second such deal in North American professional sports.
Gambling Park notes that Polymarket user bets $100,000 on Trump acquiring Greenland.
