Slot Machine Manufacturer Novomatic Secures License in UAE

Austrian gaming manufacturer Novomatic has been granted a license to operate in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), securing approval to supply gaming equipment, according to Gambling Insider.

The license was issued by the UAE General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority, marking the country’s third supplier license in the gaming sector.

Previously, similar approvals were awarded to Smarеplay International and Aristocrat.

Currently, Wynn Resorts remains the only licensed casino operator in the UAE. The U.S.-based company, in partnership with local developers, is building the Wynn Al Marjan Island resort in Ras Al Khaimah. The casino’s opening is projected for the first quarter of 2027.

Earlier, reports emerged about the launch of the UAE’s “sin-free” betting app, Hajem Sports.
