Despite an impending ban on gambling sponsorships, over 50% of Premier League clubs have finalized deals allowing bookmakers to feature their logos on player jerseys for the upcoming season. As reported by SportBusiness, teams are forging partnerships with betting companies before the ban takes effect.

The consensus among Premier League clubs to phase out gambling sponsorships from the front of players’ kits will be enforced post the 2025/2026 season. In the interim, clubs are seizing the opportunity to boost their financial resources through collaborations with bookmakers:

  • Bournemouth — BJ88
  • Southampton — Rollbit
  • Crystal Palace — Net88
  • Wolverhampton Wanderers — Debet
  • Leicester City — BC
  • Aston Villa — Betano
  • Brentford — HollywoodBets
  • Everton — Stake.com
  • Fulham — Sbotop
  • Nottingham Forest — Kaiyun
  • West Ham United — Betway

While the ban on front-of-shirt betting logos is expected to reduce the value of these partnerships by 33-50%, Premier League clubs are anticipating that much of the lost revenue could be offset by more than doubling the amount from contracts that feature bookmaker logos on the sleeves.

Furthermore, the cost of advertising via LED panels at Premier League stadiums is set to surge. Currently priced at approximately $75,000 per minute, bookmakers are expected to pay $130,000 per minute starting from the 2026/2027 season.

The upcoming EPL 2024/2025 season is scheduled to commence on August 16.
