The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) has handed down a 15-year ban to Spanish tennis professional Aaron Cortes, following multiple violations related to match-fixing and sports betting.
Cortes confessed to a total of 35 breaches of the Tennis Anti-Corruption Programme (TACP) spanning from 2016 to 2018.
The violations include:
- Manipulating the outcome of events.

In addition to the lengthy ban, which prohibits Cortes from any tennis-related activities including coaching and attending competitions, a fine of $75,000 was imposed.
