DraftKings Becomes Official Partner of Celebrity Poker Tour

U.S. gaming operator DraftKings has signed on as an official partner of the Celebrity Poker Tour (CPT), a high-profile media-driven poker event. According to Poker Industry Pro, the collaboration kicks off with tonight’s CPT Game Night V.

The CPT brings together well-known streamers and influencers.

The tournament was founded by entrepreneur and content creator Blake Wynn — nephew of Wynn Resorts founder Steve Wynn — alongside former pro football player Hayes Pullard III.

Events take place at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas.

For DraftKings, the partnership marks another step in expanding its presence in the poker industry. Last year, the company launched its own online poker platform, Electric Poker, which is currently available to players in Michigan and Pennsylvania.
