Flutter Entertainment, one of the world’s largest betting and gaming groups, said its shares would stop trading on the London Stock Exchange.
The final day of trading in London is scheduled for 31 July 2026, with the delisting* expected to take effect on 3 August. After that, Flutter shares will remain listed only on the New York Stock Exchange.
The company said the decision was driven by low trading volumes in its shares in London, while maintaining a UK listing involved additional costs, reporting requirements and administrative obligations.
Flutter said it believed leaving the London Stock Exchange would be in the best interests of the company and its shareholders.
Flutter Entertainment is a major international betting and online gaming group. Its brands include FanDuel, PokerStars, Paddy Power, Betfair, Sky Bet, Sportsbet, Sisal, Snai, tombola and Betnacional.
The move does not represent a sudden change in direction for Flutter. Rather, it continues the company’s shift towards the US market. In May 2024, Flutter made New York its primary listing venue. It is now effectively completing that process by leaving the London Stock Exchange altogether.
Flutter’s decision is another blow to London’s stock market. Building materials group CRH previously left London and now has its shares traded only in New York. Travel group TUI chose Frankfurt, while chip designer Arm opted for a US listing. Flutter is set to join that list.
* Delisting means the removal of a company’s shares from trading on a stock exchange.
