Pokerstars Open to Debut in Six European Countries in 2025

PokerStars has unveiled the launch of its new poker tournament series, the PokerStars Open, set to kick off in 2025. This series will replace well-known events such as the Eureka Poker Tour (EKA), UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT), France Poker Series (FPS), and Estrellas Poker Tour (ESPT).
The PokerStars Open will feature six stages across Europe, taking place in France, Italy, Belgium, Ireland, the UK, and Spain.
Here’s the schedule for 2025:

The Main Event at each stop will feature a €1,100 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of €1 million.
Associate Director of Live Events Operations at PokerStars Cédric Billot highlighted the series’ unique draw, stating that PokerStars Open will deliver a one-of-a-kind atmosphere at every stop. “We understand that players love to travel for tournaments, so we’ve expanded to the PokerStars Open format,” he explained.
Earlier, PokerStars announced the cancellation of the European Poker Tour’s Paris event due to the expected shutdown of gaming venues in the city.
