AC Milan Footballer Florenzi in Trouble for Illegal Betting

Alessandro Florenzi, a defender for AC Milan and the Italian national team, is under investigation for illegal betting, according to the AGI news agency.
The Turin prosecutor’s office is looking into his case, and he will have to answer some questions soon. He could face a long suspension.
Neither Florenzi nor his club, AC Milan, has said anything about the situation yet.
For reference: Florenzi, 32, has played 13 games for Milan this season, but he hasn’t scored any goals. He has also played for clubs like Valencia, PSG, and Roma in his career.
Florenzi is the fourth Italy player to be accused of illegal betting in recent months. Sandro Tonali from Newcastle United and Nicolò Fagioli from Juventus have already been banned for this, and Nicolò Zaniolo from Aston Villa is also on the list. Zaniolo has not admitted any wrongdoing, and the investigation against him is still going on.
