Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

Marina Bay Sands casino has made it to the list of the world’s most valuable brands, according to the British brand valuation consultancy Brand Finance.

The list, published on the publication’s website, ranks 500 global brands based on their financial value, and features Marina Bay Sands as the only representative of the gaming industry.

The list is updated every year, and Marina Bay Sands has kept its position from last year — 366th.

Marina Bay Sands - rating

Marina Bay Sands is an integrated casino resort in Singapore, a major tourist attraction in the city. It opened in 2010, and it is owned by the American gambling giant Las Vegas Sands, which also runs several casinos in Las Vegas.

The list reveals the top five most valuable brands in the world as:

  • Apple (USA, brand value $516.582 million)
  • Microsoft (USA, $340.442 million)
  • Google (USA, $333.441 million)
  • Amazon (USA, $308.926 million)
  • Samsung (South Korea, $99.365 million)

However, the list does not disclose the brand value of Marina Bay Sands, as it only provides the values for the top 100 brands. The financial worth of the casino resort remains a mystery.

Previously, we reported that Las Vegas topped the list of the most sinful cities in the world.
