UAE Lottery Operator Launches Two Gambling Platforms — TrueWin and Dream Island

Momentum, the company behind the UAE’s only licensed lottery operator The Game LLC, has launched two online gambling platforms under the brands TrueWin and Dream Island, Arabian Gulf Business Insight reports, citing corporate registration records.

Both platforms are already active in the UAE domain zone and offer online casino games and sports betting sections.

However, neither website provides information indicating licensing by the UAE’s gambling regulator, and no licensing details appear on the regulator’s official online portal.

The situation may stem from the fact that the UAE’s gambling regulatory framework is still being developed. While the regulator has been formally established and an operator-licensing mechanism exists, detailed rules governing various gambling verticals have yet to be published.

According to AGBI, the domain truewin.ae was registered in March 2023 — several months before the regulator was officially launched. The domain dreamisland.ae was registered earlier, in 2020.

In 2025, it also became known that Momentum had posted job listings for a commercial director, data analyst and game manager for an online casino and sportsbook brand in preparation for its launch.

Gambling Park notes that the Wynn Al Marjan Island casino resort is currently under construction in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
