Aristocrat

Aristocrat, an Australian gambling machine maker, has admitted that it was hacked two months ago, exposing the personal information of its employees, according to Inside Asian Gaming.

The company detected the cyberattack in early June, but only revealed it to the public recently.

The hackers exploited a flaw in a third-party software called MOVEit that Aristocrat was using.

Aristocrat is still investigating what other data was stolen besides the employee information. It has offered free credit monitoring and identity theft protection to all its employees.

The company is also working to fix the vulnerability in its software and prevent any future cyberattacks.
