Swiss watchmaker Jacob & Co. has unveiled a one-off Astronomia Gates of Olympus watch inspired by the visual style of Pragmatic Play’s slot of the same name, the company said on social media.
Inside the case is a three-dimensional composition featuring Zeus, clouds, lightning and architectural elements in an ancient Greek style. The design echoes key visual elements of Gates of Olympus, one of Pragmatic Play’s most recognisable online slots.
The model is fitted with a special Jacob & Co. JCAM63 movement made up of 503 components. Its main visual feature is a three-axis tourbillon, a moving mechanism that rotates in three directions at different speeds.
The case is set with baguette-cut diamonds with a total weight of more than 9 carats. Zeus’s eyes and the lightning bolt are coated with Super-LumiNova, allowing those elements to glow in the dark.
According to industry sources, the Astronomia Gates of Olympus is valued at around $1.4 million.
Gates of Olympus was released in 2021 and has become one of Pragmatic Play’s best-known products in the online slots segment. The game is based on the figure of Zeus and ancient Greek mythology. According to the provider, it has an RTP of 96.5%.
