SBC Summit 2026, an international exhibition and conference for the iGaming industry, opened in Lisbon on 29 September. This year’s event is expected to be the largest in its history, with more than 40,000 attendees from over 150 countries.
The summit will run until 1 October. It is the third consecutive year the event is being held in Lisbon, following its move from Barcelona in 2024.
More than 800 exhibitors and sponsors are taking part in the exhibition, while the conference programme features over 600 speakers.
Of the 40,000+ expected attendees, more than 11,000 are from gambling operators. The event occupies four exhibition halls covering more than 135,000 square metres — about the size of 19 football pitches.
The conference programme spans nine stages and 18 thematic tracks. Key topics include:
- gambling regulation;
- sports betting and sportsbook products;
- AI, automation and emerging technologies;
- payments, fintech and fraud prevention;
- player protection and responsible gambling;
- marketing, customer acquisition and retention;
- cryptocurrencies and blockchain;
- gambling market development.
The programme also includes practical workshops on odds-making, sportsbook product design and risk management.

Several dedicated events have also been added to this year’s lineup. The Affiliate Leaders Summit is running as a standalone event for the first time and is expected to attract more than 10,000 affiliate marketing professionals. The African Gaming Forum will focus on the development of gambling markets across Africa, while the Global Prediction Markets Forum will address the regulation of prediction markets.
Six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan is among the headline guests on opening day. He will join Sportradar founder Carsten Koerl and DraftKings co-founder Jason Robins for a discussion on how the sports business is changing.
On 30 September, football journalist Fabrizio Romano and UFC fighter Charles Oliveira, ambassador for the Aviator crash game, are scheduled to appear on the main stage.
Major technology companies are also participating in the event, including AWS, Google, OpenAI, TikTok, Tinder and Snapchat.
Sponsors and partners of SBC Summit 2026 include 1xBet, Stake, Sportradar, SPRIBE, Melbet Partners, Flutter, the Malta Gaming Authority and Chelsea FC.
