Parimatch Seeks Volunteer to Change Their Name to the Betting Brand for $30,000

Gambling operator Parimatch is looking for a person willing to legally change their name to Parimatch and use it for six months. The company announced the initiative on social media platform X. The winner will receive 30,000 USDT — a cryptocurrency whose value is pegged to the US dollar.

To participate, applicants must comment with the word “Parimatch” under the post and complete a special application form. The company will then select candidates, with the process expected to take several weeks.

The winner will have to officially register the new name and update their personal documents. They must also be prepared for public appearances, as Parimatch plans to create photo and video content, conduct interviews and produce other media materials featuring the participant.

The selected person’s name will be announced on Instagram.

The betting company said the winner could become the first person in the world to officially have the name Parimatch. However, there have previously been cases of people adopting gambling brand names.

In 2025, Kazakhstan resident Seifulla Serikuly officially changed his name to Mellstroy.game to take part in a promotion connected with the online casino of the same name and a competition offering apartments as prizes.

In 2004, betting company Blue Square paid British man Ashley Revell £20,000 (around $36,000at the time) to change his name to Ashley Blue Square Revell. In 2007, Tonga national rugby player Epeli Taione changed his name to Paddy Power during the Rugby World Cup as part of a promotion for the bookmaker sponsoring his team. The International Rugby Board did not recognise the name for the tournament.
