Authorities in Ras Al Khaimah have announced plans for the construction of Wynn Boulevard — a new road that will connect the upcoming Wynn Al Marjan Island casino resort to the UAE’s main highways, Gulf Business reports.

The project involves building a new roadway linking the resort to highways E311 and E611 — the key routes connecting Ras Al Khaimah with Dubai and other emirates.

The aim is to provide direct and convenient access to the casino resort for tourists traveling from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and other parts of the country.

Several contracts have already been signed for the road’s construction, totaling more than AED 1 billion (approximately $272 million). Wynn Boulevard is expected to be completed by 2027, coinciding with the launch of Wynn Al Marjan Island.

A distinctive feature of the project is that the road will be built below ground level, with pedestrian bridges crossing overhead.

Wynn Al Marjan Island is an integrated resort with a casino currently under construction on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah. It will become the UAE’s first legal casino resort under a license granted to the American company Wynn Resorts, which will operate the property.
