A boxing showdown between American YouTuber Logan Paul and MMA fighter Dillon Danis is scheduled for October 14th in Manchester.
The Irish superstar Conor McGregor has shown his interest in this match by placing a $200,000 bet on Danis to win at a sportsbook. This was revealed by Logan Paul himself, according to The Sun.
However, McGregor is not playing it safe here, as Danis is the clear underdog in this fight, with odds of 7 against him.
But if McGregor’s gamble pays off, he will pocket $1,200,000 in net profit. The reason behind McGregor’s bold move is his close friendship with Danis, who has also been his training partner.
Logan Paul had previously challenged McGregor to skip the bookies and make a direct bet with him on their fight. He first offered $1,000,000, and then raised it to $2,000,000. But McGregor turned down both offers.
