Italian streamer Maurizio Lorio has been seeking payment of winnings from the crypto casino Stake for more than a year, he said in an interview with iGaming Express. The disputed amount totals about 3.9 BTC, which was worth more than €324,000 at the time of the win.
The winnings were recorded on November 11, 2024, while Lorio was playing Double Ball Roulette. A €249.41 wager at 1301x odds produced a payout exceeding €324,000.
After Lorio requested a withdrawal, the payment was suspended and his account was blocked. Stake said the action was due to a “suspicious betting pattern,” pointing to a sharp increase in wager sizes.

Stake co-founder Ed Craven later wrote on social media that Lorio’s account could be linked to a scheme involving the manipulation of outcomes in a live casino game.
Craven alleged that a dealer had manually changed the position of the roulette ball after the wheel had been spun in order to produce a specific result. He also said that arrest warrants related to the case had already been issued in Europe.
Lorio rejected the accusations, stating that neither he nor his lawyer had been presented with evidence of involvement in illegal activity. He also said he had received no requests from law enforcement authorities and was not the subject of any criminal investigation.
The streamer insists there were no “suspicious betting patterns” on his part. During his streams, he said, he places both small and large wagers, sometimes reaching $15,000. On the day of the win, he said he wagered the remaining balance after several hours of play.
Lorio also suggested that the situation may warrant scrutiny of the interaction between Stake and Evolution, the live-game provider that operates Double Ball Roulette.
At the same time, he said his primary goal is to obtain a transparent explanation of what happened.
The dispute has been submitted to CADRE, a dispute resolution body that handles player complaints against operators licensed in Curaçao. According to Lorio, after more than a year of waiting, CADRE informed him that the process had been delayed due to a heavy workload and an ongoing system restructuring.
If the dispute is not resolved, the streamer said he intends to pursue the matter through regulators and courts, including filing complaints with international bodies. In his view, this could raise questions about the possible revocation of Stake’s license.
Earlier, Gambling Park reported on an investigation suggesting that Drake, a brand ambassador for the crypto casino Stake, appears to win on slot games on the promoted platform more frequently than other players.
