Israeli law enforcement authorities are investigating several suspects, including a civilian and reservists from the Israel Defense Forces, over allegations they used classified military information to place bets on the international prediction platform Polymarket, the newspaper Maariv reported.
According to investigators, the reservists are suspected of wagering on the course of military operations using information to which they had access through their service.
Security officials said that, if confirmed, such actions could have posed risks to national security, including the potential exposure of military plans.

The investigation is being conducted by the Shin Bet in cooperation with the “Arazim” unit under MALMAB, a Defense Ministry body responsible for safeguarding the defense establishment, as well as the police and the state prosecutor’s cybercrime division.
Following the probe, prosecutors decided to file criminal charges. The suspects are accused of offenses against state security, as well as bribery and obstruction of justice.
Details of the case and the identities of those involved remain under a court-imposed gag order. Defense officials said they view such conduct as a serious violation and will act to prevent any unlawful use of classified information.
Gambling Park previously reported that Israel probes suspected insider betting on Polymarket.
