The ICE Barcelona and iGB Affiliate 2025 exhibitions, the leading international events for the gaming industry and affiliate marketing, generated around $224 million for the economy of Barcelona and Catalonia, according to data from consulting firm Equimore cited by Yogonet. The events took place in January this year.

The report noted that the exhibitions helped create approximately 3,100 temporary jobs.

In total, 121,000 attendees from 186 countries took part in the two business events. Average daily spending per visitor was estimated at $531.

Key areas of expenditure included accommodation, food and beverage, transportation services, venue rental, and contractor services.

The analysis was based on an input-output model and considered not only the direct costs of organizing and attending the events, but also their indirect impact on local businesses and workers involved in preparation and delivery.

Stuart Hunter, Managing Director of Clarion Gaming, the organizer of ICE and iGB Affiliate 2025, emphasized that moving the events from London to Barcelona was driven by the ambition to grow and to provide the gaming community with “an even more meaningful platform for interaction and innovation.” He also highlighted the record number of visitors and the high level of exhibitor engagement.

The next editions of ICE and iGB Affiliate will take place in Barcelona from January 19–21, 2026.
