scammer

As reported by SBCNews, the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) website recently exhibited some unusual behavior: visitors were greeted with misplaced promotions for an online slots company.

The website appears to have been compromised. The ads, written in Indonesian, promoted a dubious operator, a move that starkly contrasts with IBIA’s mission, which does not involve endorsing individual gambling or betting brands.

The promotional article enticed visitors to the IBIA site to simply click on the provided links, register with ease, and voila! They’d have access to the “latest and greatest” online slots.

The operator assured payouts and asserted that playing slot games requires neither substantial funds nor any particular skills. It’s hard to dispute the latter claim.

IBIA Website Hacked

SBCNews reached out to the IBIA for clarification. While they received no comment, the peculiar ads soon disappeared from the association’s site.

On a related note, IBIA recently reported that the majority of potential match-fixing incidents in sports for the first quarter of 2024 were detected in Asia.
