Genius Sports Partners With Kalshi

Sports data and technology provider Genius Sports has entered into a partnership with prediction market platform Kalshi, the company said in a press release.
The agreement covers the supply of official sports data, marketing support and cooperation on market integrity.
Genius Sports will provide Kalshi with official real-time football data. The partnership covers the English Premier League, Serie A, Ligue 1, the top divisions in Mexico and Argentina, and several other competitions.
Kalshi plans to use the data to determine event outcomes and settle sports-related contracts. Access to official data will reduce the platform’s reliance on unofficial sources and delayed information.
Kalshi will also join Genius Sports’ information-sharing network, which is designed to improve market transparency and protect the integrity of sporting competitions. Genius Sports will additionally promote Kalshi through its media properties. The agreement does not include sports broadcasting rights.
The deal marks Genius Sports’ second direct partnership with a prediction market platform. A day earlier, the company announced an agreement with Polymarket.
