U.S. broadcaster NBC has premiered a new comedy series exploring sports betting and its impact on professional athletics, starring Daniel Radcliffe. The pilot episodes of the project, titled “The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins,” aired on February 23, 2026.
The series was created by Robert Carlock and Sam Means, known for their work on “30 Rock,” “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” and “Parks and Recreation.” Tina Fey, who previously produced the film “Mean Girls” starring Lindsay Lohan, serves as executive producer.
The first season consists of 10 episodes, to be released weekly. The show is also available on the streaming platform Peacock.

The storyline follows American football star Reggie Dinkins, who becomes embroiled in a scandal after it emerges that he placed bets on games in which he played. The revelations bring an end to his professional career.
Tracy Morgan portrays Dinkins. The American comedian is known for his tenure on “Saturday Night Live” and roles in “30 Rock” and “Last Man Standing.”
Daniel Radcliffe, internationally recognized for his portrayal of Harry Potter in the film franchise of the same name, plays documentary filmmaker Arthur Tobin. His character chronicles the former athlete’s attempt to rebuild his reputation and return to public life. The consequences of sports betting form the central theme of the series.
The premiere episode attracted approximately 5.8 million viewers. Several industry publications, including Variety and the Los Angeles Times, gave the series positive reviews.
Earlier, Gambling Park reported that streaming service Netflix had announced the production of a new drama series focused on the modern gambling industry in Las Vegas.
