Casino Guru, a website that reviews and rates online casinos, has faced a legal setback. Casino Nieuws reports that the site has lost a case against Usoftgaming, a gambling company based in Curacao.
The four casinos that got a raw deal from Casino Guru are Betswagger, Gododds, Playhub Casino, and PH Casino.
Usoftgaming argued that Casino Guru had posted inaccurate information for its casinos, causing them to lose customers and money.
In a nutshell, Casino Guru gave these casinos a thumbs down on its website, and the players who visited the site followed suit. They snubbed Usoftgaming’s casinos and opted for others with higher ratings and better reviews.
For reference: Casino Guru rated the online casinos from 1 to 10. At the time of the lawsuit, the ratings were: Betswagger – 2.3, Gododds – 2.9, Playhub Casino – 2.6, and PH Casino – 4.2.
The court agreed with Usoftgaming and ordered Casino Guru to remove the negative reviews about the online casinos. It seems that not all of them are happy with their ratings, and some might follow Usoftgaming’s lead and sue the website for defamation.
