The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) has dropped the hammer on ten Chinese snooker players who were caught in a match-fixing scandal, Eurosport reports.

Liang Wenbo and Li Hang got the worst of it, as they got hit with a lifetime ban from the sport.

On top of that, they have to pay £43,000 (about $53,485) in fines.

Meanwhile, the other eight players involved confessed their crimes and cooperated with the investigation, which reduced their penalties. Here’s how their sentences break down:

  • Yan Bingtao – 5 years;
  • Chen Zifan – 5 years;
  • Zhang Jiankang – 2 years, 11 months;

  • Zhao Jianbo – 2 years, 4 months;
  • Chang Bingyu – 2 years;
  • Zhao Xintong – 1 year, 8 months.

In addition, they also have to pay £7,500 (around $9,328) in fines each.
