It’s Official: BetMGM and Elon Musk Partner Up for Live-Odds Betting on X

Gambling Park reported in January that BetMGM, a big betting operator, and X, Elon Musk’s social media platform (formerly Twitter), might have a deal. On February 9th, they made it official.

BetMGM said that it will be the only live-odds sports betting partner for X.

That means that X users will be able to see betting odds for different games directly on the platform.

But there’s a catch:

1. To place a bet, users will have to click on a link that will take them to BetMGM’s website or app.
2. Also, the betting feature is only open to U.S. residents, and only in states where BetMGM has a gambling license.

They didn’t say how much money the deal is worth, or when it will start. BetMGM said it plans to roll out more betting features on X in the coming months.

The timing of the announcement was interesting, too. It was just two days before the biggest sports event of the year in the U.S. — Super Bowl LVIII.
