Online poker brand PokerStars, part of Flutter Entertainment, has become an official partner of one of the world’s most prestigious tennis tournaments, the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, according to Gaming Intelligence.
This marks the first time an online gambling operator has entered into a partnership agreement with the tournament.
The event will take place from April 4 to April 12 at the Monte-Carlo Country Club courts, located on the Mediterranean coast near Monaco.
The Monte-Carlo Masters is part of the ATP Tour and holds Masters 1000 status, making it one of the key events in men’s professional tennis outside of the Grand Slam tournaments. The competition traditionally opens the European clay-court season and regularly attracts the world’s top players.
PokerStars said the partnership reflects shared values between tennis and poker, including strategy, concentration, and the ability to perform in high-pressure situations. The collaboration also carries special significance for the brand, as Monaco has long been associated with its live poker events. In particular, one of the most prestigious stops of the European Poker Tour is regularly held there.
In 2026, the EPT Monte-Carlo festival will run from April 30 to May 10, shortly after the conclusion of the tennis tournament. As a result, PokerStars will effectively bring together two major international events in Monaco — world-class tennis and one of the leading live poker festivals.
Gambling Park previously reported that Flutter Entertainment plans to merge its Italian poker brands into a single network under the name PokerStars Italy.
