Flutter Entertainment plans to consolidate its Italian poker brands onto the PokerStars Italy platform, the gambling group said in a notice to shareholders, according to Poker Industry PRO.
The move involves migrating the poker services of Sisal and SNAI to PokerStars Italy and combining them into a shared player pool — a unified user base operating within a single network.
A larger player pool typically expands the range of available tables and tournaments and reduces waiting times for games to start.
The first phase has already been completed. In December 2024, Flutter migrated the Sisal poker room from the iPoker Italy network to the PokerStars platform. The group described the results of the transition as “very encouraging,” noting that the influx of new players more than doubled.
The next step, for which no timeline has yet been announced, will be the integration of SNAI into the same platform. Once completed, Flutter’s three brands — PokerStars, Sisal and SNAI — will operate in Italy within a single poker network.
Flutter acquired Sisal Group in 2022 for €1.91 billion. In 2024, the company also completed the purchase of Snaitech, the parent company of the SNAI brand, for €2.3 billion.
Gambling park previously reported that the PokerStars brand could be withdrawn from the U.S. market.
