MMA superstar Conor McGregor is back in the betting game, this time placing a hefty wager on Argentina to win the Copa America. The Irishman, known for his bold personality and high-stakes bets, took to X to announce his latest gamble.
McGregor has put down $365,000 on Argentina to lift the Copa America trophy, with betting odds of 2.75.
If Argentina emerges victorious, McGregor stands to earn a massive $1,003,750.
The bet was made through the bookmaker Duelbits, a company McGregor has been an ambassador for since May 2024.
Duelbits currently considers Argentina the top favorite to win the Copa America, with Brazil and Uruguay also considered strong contenders.
This isn’t McGregor’s first foray into the world of football betting. He previously placed bets on the winner and top scorer of Euro 2024.
