Social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) has struck a new partnership with Polymarket, one of the world’s leading prediction market platforms, as per Gambling News.

This development is particularly noteworthy because earlier reports had strongly suggested X.com was on the verge of finalizing a similar agreement with Kalshi, a direct competitor to Polymarket.

The announcement confirms that Polymarket will now serve as the official prediction market partner of X, and will collaborate closely with xAI, Elon Musk’s AI venture.

Terms of the agreement have not been fully disclosed, but the partnership aims to integrate Polymarket’s forecasting tools directly with X’s ecosystem for:

  • Live insights
  • Real-time annotations derived from X’s Grok AI chatbot
  • Relevant X posts

The timing of the Polymarket announcement has raised some eyebrows, occurring amidst a public fallout between X owner Elon Musk and former U.S. President Donald Trump. This is significant as Kalshi has Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., on its Board of Directors.

Shayne Coplan, Founder and CEO of Polymarket, commented on the new alliance via X, stating: “Proud to announce Polymarket’s partnership with X and xAI as their Official Prediction Market Partner. The two top truth seeking apps on the internet are stronger together.”
