The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) has slapped a three-year ban on 28-year-old French tennis pro Baptiste Crepatte for his involvement in match-fixing. The ITIA broke the news on its official website.

It was found that Crepatte took part in three match-fixing schemes and violated 7 rules of the ITIA’s anti-corruption code.

Aside from tanking matches on purpose, Crepatte also assisted others in placing wagers on tennis matches.

Furthermore, he also concealed his own wrongdoings from the ITIA and refused to cooperate with its probe.

As a result, Crepatte is now off-limits from playing, coaching or showing up at any tennis events sanctioned by the sport’s governing bodies. Additionally, pro player also has to pay a $15,000 fine. It is expected that he can make a comeback to his tennis career on April 19, 2026.
