Stake.com, the cryptocurrency casino, is making a splash in the sports market once again. The gambling operator has inked a deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) promotion and has become the official sponsor partner for UFC in Asia.
The terms and the price tag of the deal are kept under wraps. As part of the partnership, UFC and Stake.com will run exclusive promotions and create joint content featuring UFC fighters. This includes Israel Adesanya, a UFC star who was the first to sign up as a brand ambassador for Stake.com.
The main aim of the partnership is to boost the betting options of Stake.com on UFC fights.
Stake.com, the crypto casino with Aussie roots, has a gambling license in Curacao. In the last two months, the gambling operator has shaken up the sports market by landing sponsorship or partnership deals with the Formula 1 team (Sauber), the International Tennis Federation (ITF), and the Brazilian football team Juventude.
But the rapid growth of the gambling brand sometimes comes with drawbacks, as seen in Formula 1, where the racing team had to tone down public mentions of the sponsor due to Stake.com’s illegal status in some countries.
