Polymarket Users Bet Over $626,000 on Putin-Zelenskyy Meeting Before July

Crypto-based prediction market Polymarket is currently taking bets on whether Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet in person before July 2025.

As of now, the market-implied probability of such a meeting happening within that window stands at 21%, based on user bets on the platform. In total, over $626,000 has already been staked on the outcome.

Polymarket specifies that for a “meeting” to count, it must involve a direct personal interaction — such as verbal exchange, handshake, face-to-face conversation, or any other clear physical engagement between the two leaders.

Simply being in the same room, making eye contact, or attending the same event without any direct exchange does not qualify as a meeting under the market’s rules.
