Anthony Joshua has drawn attention ahead of his fight with Jake Paul after posting a video on social media showing a lavish gift from prediction platform Polymarket. The boxer was presented with a large necklace bearing the company’s logo.
According to VegasSlotsOnline, the necklace is valued at around $400,000, although neither Joshua nor Polymarket has officially disclosed its price. Joshua showed the gift to fans on the eve of the fight, and the clip quickly spread across sports and news platforms. It is widely assumed that the boxer may wear the necklace for the upcoming bout.
“Very, very shiny. We’re in America — Polymarket are the best in the business,” Joshua said in the unboxing video.
The fight between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul is scheduled for December 19. The bout will be part of a major boxing event and will be streamed exclusively on Netflix. Despite a weight difference of more than 12 kilograms, the fight will carry professional status.
Interest in the matchup has been fueled by its commercial scale. Media reports have focused on the fighters’ sizable purses and strong advertiser interest. Paul previously claimed on X that he would earn $267 million for the fight, though he later deleted the post. The UK’s Daily Mail reported that the fighters are expected to earn a combined $186 million.
Fans are actively placing predictions on the outcome, while Joshua himself shared a screenshot from Polymarket showing that 87% of bets favor the British boxer.

Previously, Gambling Park reported that Jake Paul’s promoters denied claims that the fight was fixed.
