Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas is set to launch a one-of-a-kind gaming experience — the UNO Social Club, a space dedicated to the iconic card game, but without any real-money wagering, Newsweek reports.
UNO, a beloved family card game invented in 1971 by barber Merle Robbins, was acquired by toy giant Mattel in 1992. According to the National Museum of Play, around 80% of American households own a UNO deck.
The UNO Social Club will operate at Palms Casino Resort from July 18 to 20. However, this is just the beginning — Mattel plans to expand the concept across the United States with more UNO-themed spaces.
The first-of-its-kind club will feature multiple UNO tables with personal dealers and a variety of UNO versions, including UNO Golf, UNO Teams, and the chaotic UNO Show ‘Em No Mercy.
Designed with a vibrant and immersive aesthetic, the space includes custom gaming tables, neon signage, colorful décor, and even a dedicated UNO-themed bowling area.

“Each event will transform popular venues into the ultimate setting for UNO game nights — complete with themed drink menus, tournament-style play, photo ops, and more,” said a representative from Palms Casino Resort.
