Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) has denied rumors that the influencer’s fight against boxing legend Mike Tyson was fixed. The statement was reported by MMA Weekly.

The fight, held in Arlington, Texas, on the night of November 15-16, saw the 27-year-old influencer secure a unanimous decision victory with a score of 79-73. However, shortly after the bout, allegations surfaced online, with some claiming the outcome had been prearranged.

Fans circulated videos on social media dissecting moments from the match, which they claimed were evidence of a staged fight.

The suspicions weren’t limited to fans. Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone added fuel to the controversy, calling the bout choreographed and joking that Tyson deserved an Oscar for his performance. “Please, Jake, be grateful, HE SPARED YOUR LIFE! Trust me,” Stallone quipped in a statement directed at Paul.

The controversy prompted MVP to issue an official statement. “Rigging a professional boxing match is a federal crime in the United States of America. Paul vs Tyson was a professional match sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR). Both fighters in good faith performed to the best of their abilities with the goal of winning the fight. There were absolutely no restrictions — contractual or otherwise — around either fighter. Each boxer was able to use his full arsenal to win the fight,” the statement read.
