The feud between Canadian rapper Drake and the platforms Stake and Kick is heating up. On August 22, during a livestream with Adin Ross, Drake publicly said he was ready to step into the ring with Ed Craven, co-founder of both platforms.
At first, it seemed the dispute was limited to Kick. But just days later, Drake hinted at deeper tensions with Stake as well.
On August 24, the rapper posted a screenshot on Instagram showing four failed attempts to withdraw funds from his Stake account, all blocked by customer support. He captioned the post with a pointed question: “Is it personal?”
The message, shared with his 142 million followers, marked the start of an open confrontation with the betting platform. Still, links to Stake remain visible in Drake’s bio and Instagram stories.

Speaking on TrainwreckTV, Drake sharply criticized Craven and his business partner Bijan Tehrani. He has since deleted his Kick account and announced he will no longer stream on the platform. His former page now returns a 404 error.
The situation is still developing, and it remains unclear whether Drake will resolve the conflicts with platforms he has long been tied to. His public statements and social media activity suggest the feud could stay in the spotlight for some time.
According to the Financial Times, Drake’s 2023 partnership with Stake was worth $100 million per year, with reports suggesting that figure may now be as high as $180 million.
