Indian Gambler Forces Wife into Prostitution to Pay Off Gambling Debts

A shocking case of gambling addiction has come to light in India, where a man forced his 33-year-old wife into prostitution to cover his losses, according to The Times of India.

The victim, who spoke to the police, said that she met her husband in Mumbai in 2016 and married him two years later. She said that he had a gambling problem and would often beat her up when he lost money.

Things got worse over time as the man kept digging himself deeper into debt. He made his wife sell her body to make ends meet. She couldn’t say no because he threatened to hurt their daughter.

He also exploited his wife online, posting her nude photos and phone number on porn sites and social media, hoping to lure more clients.

As if that wasn’t enough, he also took out a loan and pawned his wife’s valuables as collateral.

The police report that the couple is now divorced and the woman is in a safe place. The gambler, on the other hand, is facing charges for his crimes.
