Brand Battle: Crypto Casino Stake.com Faces Lawsuit from Aussie Broker Stake

Two months ago, the crypto casino Stake.com revealed its big plans to enter the Australian betting market, but it hit a snag: another company with the same name is not happy about it.
As reported by Mandurah Mail, a Sydney-based stock trading platform called Stake has filed a lawsuit against the crypto casino, seeking to stop it from using the Stake brand in Australia.
The broker claims that it has built a trustworthy and culturally relevant brand, and that it doesn’t want to be confused with a crypto casino, which could damage its reputation.
The case will be heard by the Federal Court of Australia, and the outcome is uncertain. But it will be interesting to see how Stake.com will deal with the situation if the court rules in favor of the broker.
The online casino Stake.com is no stranger to success, though. The platform recently celebrated its birthday on August 8th, and on that day, it managed to beat the traffic of major payment systems Visa and MasterCard. That’s quite an achievement for a crypto casino.
