BetBlocker is a free and anonymous voluntary self-exclusion service that blocks access to online gambling independently of national self-exclusion schemes. The block is applied at the device level and operates regardless of jurisdiction or operators’ licensing status.
According to its 2025 annual report, the service recorded 300,012 unique active users worldwide, with its audience growing at an average rate of 154% per month since the start of the year. The report emphasises that the figures reflect active users with blocking enabled, rather than application downloads.
The top five countries by number of active BetBlocker users in 2025:
- Brazil with 64,107 users (21.37%)
- United Kingdom with 22,584 (7.53%)
- United States with 19,644 (6.55%)
- Kenya with 13,771 (about 4.59%)
- Romania with 13,329 (about 4.44%)

Among post-Soviet countries, the report lists Ukraine, where 2,853 users were recorded, accounting for 0.95% of the total.
In 2025, BetBlocker launched a dedicated division for the U.S. market, resulting in a 131% increase in users in the country, partly driven by cooperation with responsible gambling organisations.
During the year, the service expanded its language support, adding Italian, French, Japanese, Serbian, Czech and Catalan, as well as three dialects used in Zambia. By year-end, the platform supported 25 languages.
Gambling Park earlier reported, the owner of Cosmolot Casino has accused Ukrainian officials of corruption and extortion.
