Swiss company Sportradar has released its 2024 report, revealing a notable decrease in potentially fixed matches across global sports.
The company’s monitoring system flagged 1,108 suspicious games in 2024, marking a 20% decline compared to 2023. The analysis spans 12 sports across 95 countries.
As expected, football remains the most affected sport, accounting for 721 reports of potential match-fixing. This represents a significant reduction from 880 cases reported in 2023.
