The largest sports betting operators in the United States — DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics — have committed $41 million to support the launch of a new political action committee, Win for America. This was reported by The New York Times.
The committee will be able to raise and spend funds to support candidates in state legislative elections scheduled for November 3, 2026.
Win for America includes two affiliated groups: American Future, which focuses on supporting Democratic campaigns, and the American Conservative Fund, which works with Republican candidates.
The involvement of betting operators in state-level elections is linked to the structure of market regulation in the United States. In 2018, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the federal ban on sports betting, allowing each state to decide whether to legalize it. Since then, 38 states and the District of Columbia have authorized various forms of betting.
As a result, the betting industry has been actively investing in lobbying at the state level — including efforts to legalize betting, reduce tax burdens and ease regulatory requirements.
A significant portion of the funds from Win for America is expected to be used to support campaigns in Georgia and Texas, two of the largest U.S. states where sports betting has not yet been legalized.
Some of the funding will also be directed to Pennsylvania, where lawmakers are considering potential tax increases for betting operators.
Earlier, Gambling Park reported that DraftKings established its own PAC, while the launch of Win for America signals a shift toward a more coordinated, large-scale political strategy across the industry.
