Entain has released financial data for BetMGM’s performance in 2024. A joint venture between Entain and MGM Resorts, BetMGM is one of the leading operators in the U.S. gambling market.

For the year, BetMGM’s revenue rose 7%, reaching $2.1 billion.

The iGaming segment — primarily online casino games — was the dominant revenue driver, accounting for $1.479 billion, or more than 70% of total revenue. That marks a 14% increase compared to 2023.

Online sports betting saw a 4% rise, generating $554 million for the operator. Total betting handle grew from $10.9 billion in 2023 to $13.1 billion in 2024. Retail bookmakers contributed $70 million in revenue, a 50% decline from the previous year.

Off the back of its 2024 performance, BetMGM expects revenue to climb to $2.4–$2.5 billion in 2025.

Last year, BetMGM announced a partnership with social media platform X (formerly Twitter), securing exclusive rights as the platform’s official live betting partner.
