A new TV ad campaign is pushing for the legalization of online casinos in New York. The ad is sponsored by some of the biggest names in the U.S. gambling industry: DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, and Fanatics.

The 30-second ad spotlights the benefits of legalizing iGaming in the state. It points out the huge budget shortfall that New York is facing, which adds up to $21.5 billion (over three years). The ad claims that legalizing online casinos could bring in about $1 billion a year to the state coffers.

The ad also compares New York to its three neighboring states, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Connecticut, where online casinos boosted their budgets by a total of $6 billion (in one year) after they were legalized.

The makers of the ad also stress that the money from legal online casinos could go towards education and other good causes.

The campaign also has a website, BetOnNY.com, where New Yorkers can sign up and vote for online casino legalization. The goal is to show the authorities that there is a strong demand for online casinos in the state.

Currently, only six U.S. states allow online casinos: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Michigan, West Virginia, and Delaware.
