Chelsea - Stake.com

The Chelsea Supporters’ Trust has spoken out against the team striking a partnership with the betting company Stake.com.

Over 77% of the members of the Chelsea Supporters’ Trust are against having the logo of the cryptocurrency bookmaker plastered on Chelsea jerseys, as stated on the organization’s official website.

Representatives of the fan community have already reached out to the club regarding this issue, expecting some form of response.

Gambling Park reminds that two months ago, the English Premier League clubs collectively decided to voluntarily avoid featuring gambling company logos on the front of players’ jerseys. This ban will only take effect after the 2025/2026 season.

So, Chelsea’s intention to partner with Stake.com doesn’t go against the previously agreed arrangements. Moreover, the club plans to partner with the bookmaker for only one year. It is worth mentioning that the expected amount may top £40 million ($50.9 million).

Besides, the cryptocurrency betting company Stake.com is also the title sponsor of Everton in England. And just like Chelsea fans, the supporters of Everton were clearly unhappy with the presence of the gambling company’s logo on the club’s jerseys.
