The Boxing Kingdom community on the X (formerly known as Twitter) has shared compelling details about the bout between American boxers Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia that took place in New York on April 20. According to the source, one of the fighters placed a substantial bet on the match’s outcome.

Boxing Insider confirms that the boxer’s winnings totaled $12 million at the undisclosed bookmaker. The betting odds for Garcia’s victory, who was the underdog, were set at 6.0 by this bookie. It’s also claimed that the boxer has already cashed out his winnings. He has reportedly cashed out his winnings.
If the bet was indeed placed, it proved successful for Garcia, who won the fight by judges’ decision. However, he did not receive the title as he did not meet the weight limit for the division.
Interestingly, former six-weight world boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya stated that Garcia expected to earn at least $30 million for the fight with Haney, and double that amount in case of his victory.
