Multi-Car Crash Involving 26 Vehicles Occurs at NASCAR Race in the United States

A multi-car crash occurred on April 26 in Alabama during the NASCAR Cup Series Jack Link’s 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, NASCAR said.
On lap 115, race leader Bubba Wallace lost control after making contact with Ross Chastain. Wallace’s car spun toward the outside barrier, triggering a chain-reaction collision. Wallace said a strong hit from behind caused the crash.
26 of the 40 cars in the race were involved, according to official figures. Among those caught up in the incident was three-time series champion Joey Logano.
The race was stopped on lap 116 to allow crews to clear debris from the track. Drivers involved were evaluated and released by medical staff. No serious injuries were reported.
