The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) has announced sanctions against 26-year-old French player Quentin Folliot, who has been banned from the sport for 20 years, fined $70,000 and ordered to repay more than $44,000 obtained through corrupt activities.
The ruling was issued by an independent arbiter after reviewing 30 charges, 27 of which were upheld.
According to the ITIA, Folliot was a key figure in a network of players acting on behalf of a match-fixing syndicate. He is the sixth player sanctioned as part of the investigation, following Jamie Floyd-Angelle, Paul Valsecchi, Luke Fomba, Lucas Bouclet and Enzo Rimoli.
The violations relate to 11 matches played between 2022 and 2024 and include manipulating match outcomes, deliberately losing matches, attempting to recruit other players into fixing schemes, providing inside information, destroying evidence and refusing to cooperate with the investigation.
In its written decision, the arbiter described Folliot as “a conduit for a wider criminal network seeking to deepen corruption within the tours.” Taking into account his provisional suspension, his ban will run until 16 May 2044. During this period, he is prohibited from competing, coaching or attending any events sanctioned by ITIA members.
Earlier, Gambling Park reported on the ITIA’s findings regarding potential match-fixing alerts in Q3 2025.
