Emirates will broadcast all matches from the 2026 FIFA World Cup on board its aircraft, with passengers able to watch games live via the Sport 24 channel on the airline’s ice in-flight entertainment system.
The airline said coverage would run throughout the tournament, from the opening matches to the final, which will be played in the United States on 19 July.
A full broadcast schedule has been published in the June edition of the airline’s ice magazine, allowing passengers to check in advance which games are scheduled during their flights.
Emirates said Live TV, including Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra, is available on most of its flights, although access may depend on the aircraft type and route.
This means the broadcasts will not be available on every flight, but only where live television is supported.
World Cup matches will also be shown in Emirates lounges in Dubai where the service is available.
In addition to football, Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra will broadcast the NBA Finals, the SailGP event in Canada, and the Belgian and Hungarian Formula One Grands Prix in June and July.
Emirates is a Dubai-based airline operating international flights across a broad route network. Its ice entertainment system includes films, television series, music, games and live broadcasts of selected sporting events.
